The Truth or An Excuse?

Hmmm this thing happened yesterday when i suppose to meet geok at 5.30 City Hall Mrt Station. Then i was late like for 20 mins.

Me:So paiseh i was late!!!! I was helping this old lady...
*Before i could finish, she look at me and said*
Geok:Ya... you help an old lady cross the road right?
Me:(-_-")

The truth was that i saw this blind old lady while taking NEL... She alighted at dhoby ghaut mrt station to change to the Red colour line to go somerset. So i offered to help her lor... as u all know the dhoby ghaut's NEL line is far from the red line.(Has like 4 escalators). So i waited with her till the jurong east direction train came then showed her in before going over to the other side to take to city hall.

Well... after i told geok.... Geok said well... it sounds like some old lame excuse... lol... Well.. if i had known i would just say i missed my train and i waited very long. Geok agreed that it would sound more convincing that i missed the train. Haiz...

To tell the truth or to tell an excuse. That is the question!

i think you should tell the truth.

since your truth MAY be regarded as excuse, then it can fulfill its role as excuse as well.

You tell the truth not because you want others to believe in you, but you yourself know that you are true to yourself and true to others.

TRUTH!

It doesnt matter what the heck others think cos being true to yourself is the most important matter. Cheers!
